My Williams is Malinda (aka: Linda) b. 8/22/1847 in Post county, IN and died 9 Feb 1904 in Albany, Whiteside, IL, buried in Oak Ridge Cemetery Albany, IL (next to first husband, Thomas Whisler). Malinda married first Thomas Whisler, who died in 1880, remarried (it is presumed) to Henry Love who is the father of her last child, Henrietta Love b. 1887. Thomas and Malinda had five children, one of whom is my g-grandfather William Perry Whisler. Family rumor is that Henry and Thomas were serving in the civil war together. Malinda's parents from census materials has been determined to be Thomas Williams born in VA and Delilah? born in SC. I show them with Malinda in the 1860 census in Whiteside County, Morrison township, Illinois. There is a Thomas Williams and Delilah Edmonson who married in 1820 in KY, but I am completely unsure if this is them. I also have no clue where Thomas Williams' family comes from...and with the number of them available to choose from need further research to determine origin;o) If you think you connect to this family, I will share all docs I have with you.
