SAMUEL Williams was born 1786 to SHADRACK Williams and Hannah JONES Williams. He was born in SHENDNDOAH CO., Va., probably moved with his father to RUSSELL CO., VA in 1788/89, and to GRAINGER CO., TN in about 1808. The book "Marriages of Grainger Co., TN 1796-1837" by Whitley lists three marriages of Samuel Williamses, but it is currently unknown which, if any, is this Samuel: 23 Jan 1808 to Rebecca MORGAN; 10 Mar 1809 to Susannah HARRIS; and 15 Dec 1810 to Marion HALL.
