The Williams family that I'm looking for is as follows: Noah Williams, Sr., b 12/25/1813 in North Carolina, died 3/24/1875 in Red Oak, IA married Cordelia Love date unknown, she was born 3/29/1822 died May 1876 Children: Nancy dob 2/19/1839 dod 1845; James Riley dob 8/25/1841 in Cummings County (but no such county in North Carolina) died 1926 in Dewitt Wapella, Illinois -he was a Civil War veteran - he married Sarah Swearingen on 10/29/1871 William Henry dob 10/1/1843 John Wesley dob 8/25/1845; Sarah dob 5/31/1847 Noah Jr dob 12/25/1848 in Cummings Co (?) NC; died 2/25/1929 Sterling, Nebraska (my husbands great grandfather) Margarette dob 1/2/1851 George dob 4/21/1853 Mary Martha dob 10/15/1856 Elizbeth dob 6/30/1857 - she married a Lamb Jeb Arnell dob 5/5/1860 Jennie E. dob June of 1864 - died May 20, 1953 - she married a Lighthall After many hours on the roots website - only connection so far has been with Flo Garland in Iowa who is connected -- otherwise - lots of similar names but nothing ties in with them.
