Hmmm, this interests me for several reasons. My line includes MANKINS who married MILLS who married WILLIAMS and RAMEY. I can tell you that many of these folks were originally Quakers who left the church willing to fight to free slaves. The migration path for these families was MD & VA > NC > KY > IN > AR > MO between the Rev War and Civil War.
