JOHN Williams was born in 1792 in RUSSELL CO., VA to SHADRACK Williams and Hannah JONES Williams. He probably moved to GRAINGER CO., TN with his parents in about 1808. There is a JOHN Williams of the correct age range in the 1840 Grainger Co. census. I don't know where he was in 1850. He may have married an Ababail SMITH. CD #229, Marriage Records Early to 1850, shows a John Williams marrying Elizabeth ARWINE on 16 Aug 1814 in Grainger Co., TN. Whom did he marry? Who were his children? Where did they live and die?
