Hi, I am looking for information on James S. Williams (b 1792 NC, d. 1863 Malvern AR) who married Polley Cole Johnson, daughter of Charles Johnson and Martha Pattey Lightfoot of VA. I can't seem to get farther back than James Williams. I know James and Polley married in Williamson Co. TN but they lived in Bolivar, Hardeman Co., TN until 1851 or 1852. James was a Methodist circuit preacher and married couples in the Williamson county area. They moved to Malvern, AR in 1851 and are in the census there. I would really like to get some ideas or help with going further back to James' ancestors. 1 James S.
