    1. [WILLIAMS] Williams\Brown
    2. Does anyone know if a pattern with a bird, a leaf, an ax, an ox yolk and a pair of log rolling tongs means anything. This on is on a shaving mug above the name W. D. Williams. the cup is ca1920s and seems pretty elaborate for a depression era family to own unless it is from some sort of organization. The mug belonged to W. D. Williams b.abt 1883 TX d. abt 1945 TX m.Sally A. Brown abt 1905/6 TX. They ran a railroad restuarant that followed the rail lines to logging camps in east Texas in the early 1900s to the 1920s. They owned property in Tyler Co. just outside of Woodville. I'm looking for any info on him.
