I am researching the families of Captain David William Wilson Howell. He and wife Sarah Margaret Williams were married in 1851 at Florence, Lauderdale County, Alabama. Captain Howell was born and raised in Lauderdale County, Alabama. He proudly served as a soldier with the CSA and fought at the battle of Shiloh. His wife Sarah died in Hardin County, Tennessee and is buried at the Bethel Cemetery. In 1880 Captain Howell married Sarah Columbia (Palmer) Graham, widow of James A. Graham. Later Captain Howell and wife Sarah Columbia Howell moved back to Florence, Alabama. Both died in Florence and are buried at the Florence City Cemetery. Need any connections to any of these families.
