Hi, I am researching for a Luranna Williams, this is how the census and family records show her name as, I believe it is soundex written. Probably Lucinda or a variation there of . She married John CHAPMAN from Pittsylvania Co, VA. She died early in her live. They ended up in Campbell County, TN. She was born in 1817 and died in 1852 in Campbell County, TN. The only other Williams here in the county was Sampson Williams. He had to be a brother as their ages were consistent of such. He lived a few houses down from all the Chapmans in the area. We have researched out everything we can find in CAmpbell County, TN. We don't have a starting point in Pittsylvania to begin to research there. Anything you can help on.
