Interestingly enough, his father's name was Joseph. Joseph died 1693/4 in Baltimore. According to something I printed out from the internet, and can't seem to find again, Richard Williams died Dec. 2, 1768. and his April 1768 will "names children Richard, Joseph (had son Kinnard), Stockett (had son Richard), and grandchildren Chaney & Joseph Wms., Sarah Eleanor Richardson, Eleanor Welsh/Welch. Tracts mentioned: Hickory Hills, Franklings Enlargement. Ref: The Maryland Calendar of Wills, vol. 14, p. 66." Francis Linthicum (1709-1765) & Eleanor Williams (1717-1788) m. 1732 Richard Williams (1684-1768) & Eleanor Stockett (born c. 1693) Thomas Stockett IV (1667-1732) & Mary Sprigg (c. 1671-1693/4) m. 1689 Thomas Sprigg, Jr. (1630-1704) & Eleanor Nuthall, his 2nd wife, m. 1668, daughter of John Nuthall IV (c. 1614/5-1667) of Cross Manor.
