When Lena Williams Nelson White died in Colby, Kansas, the lawyer called my father and told him if he wanted the pictures in an old metal suitcase he should come and get them or they would be thrown away. I have all the pictures. There are tintypes and some pictures with names on them. I have pictures of Ed Williams. My father's grandparents were Joseph (Josiah) Hardin Williams and Adeline Susan Dawson Williams. They had a farm in Willow Springs, Howell Co., Missouri. Their children were Charles Preston Williams, Docia Williams, Bert Thomas Williams (my father, Harley's father) Monroe Williams, Ed Williams and Lena Williams. Charles Preston Williams was born 6 Dec 1873 Howell Co., Missouri and died May 4, 1957 in Palisades, Nebraska. Docia Williams Brooks was born in Howell Co., Missouri Bert Thomas Williams was born Oct. 2, 1885 in Pomona, Missouri and died in Compton, Calif. He was married to my grandmother, Elsie Grace Oaks Williams. Monroe E. Williams was born Aug 15, 1887 in Howell Co., Missouri and married Eleanor Ed Williams was born 1889 in Pomona, Missouri and died feb 4, 1968 in Siletz, Oregon He married Edna. Sarah Jane Norman Williams sold the property and bought a covered wagon and took the children to Missouri. There she farmed with her son Jefferson Providence Williams.
