You can find Earl, Alma and their child in the 1930 census of Georgianna, Butler County, Alabama living on the dairy farm of his widowed mother, Mary, who was born about 1855 in Alabama. That census should provide the clues you need trace Earl's family. The family was in the same place in 1920. W.
