My ancestor Thomas Stockett Williams was born 19 August 1812 in Maryland. According to a Bible Record, his parents were Richard (A. or E.) Williams and Elizabeth Hait (Hate) who married 7 September 1811 in Baltimore, Maryland. Other children born to them were: Sarah Ann Williams born 25 October, 1814 and Richard D. Williams born 28 December, 1817. According to same Bible record, parents Richard Williams died May 25, 1835 and his wife Elizabeth died 19 March 1835. Do not know where they died or where they were buried. I have tried for many years to see if there was a connection to Richard Williams who married Eleanor Stockett back in 14 February, 1709. I have hit a brick wall!! Thomas Stockett Williams and Richard D. Williams migrated on to Muskingum County, Ohio where they both married and then to Wapello County, Iowa with their families.
