This discussion may be getting near to the point where we should stop. But I just wanted to add my own comment here which I don't think is of a political nature. Someone made a comment that seemed to infer he/she thought the "old days" of our ancestors was the "simpler time". I have heard that before. But I happen not to think that is true at all. Our day-to-day lives today are tremendously simpler than the much more complex day-to-day lives our ancestors lived. I myself am 71 years old and remember times back in the 30s & 40s. This is most definitely the simpler time, even compared to that time! Modern technology and the benefits now available make things tremendously simpler for the vast majority of us Americans today, certainly NOT more complex. Think about it.
