    2. Few, if any of us, have completely accurate and fully documented family trees. That's what message boards and mailing lists are about. We share what we think we know. That's why it's so important to include sources when we make assertions in our postings and discussions. LDS, through their web site and their Family History Centers, provides easy access to "pre-digested" genealogy research, as well as to original sources on microfilm. Ancestry.com and other such sites offer easy access, but you have to be wary of their indexing and creative with your search strategies. Even original sources can contain erroneous information or can be misinterpreted by the reader. The best we can do is to continue to share information and sources and document and share our doubts, as well as our certainties. W.
