    1. [WILLIAMS] - Thanksgiving Dinner - Dr. John A. WILLIAMS 1826, IN
    2. Sergio Salés Reyes
    3. This was a great question. For Thanksgiving, I would enjoy inviting my Great, Great Grandfather, Dr. John Allen WILLIAMS to join us. He was born in 1826 or 1827 in Indiana. My curiosity is regarding his wives' names, where they met, etc. His first wife was Sarah Emmeline/Evaline FORD or Katherine FORD. They had six or seven children and then Sarah disappears. Was Sarah Emmeline the same person as Katherine? Where was Sarah from? During the Civil War, he married a widow named Virginia (FULTON) FODGE whose husband had died in the war, leaving her with three children. After John and Virginia were married, they then had six more children. In total, there were 13 children from the three marriages. So, I would ask him about his wives' names. I would also like to know what became of all those other children. My Great Grandmother, Laura WILLIAMS, is in a group picture with 10 of her siblings, taken at the funeral for one of her sisters. Do any of their descendants get together for a family reunion now? Lastly, I would like to know where John and his wives are buried. I have searched high and low and have not found the place where they are buried. Are they buried in Pee Wee Cemetery, outside of Anderson, IN? Thank you. Janni
