    3. Hello. Have you tried to get the death certificate or death record for Ella in 1941? By then, they were keeping pretty good records and it might give you her parents' names. It's worth a try. You'd want to contact the County Clerk for Anderson or Madison Co. probably. The library might have copies of those records or at least a listing of when people died in Anderson. Something really good about Madison Co. is that they have an interactive online site where you can see the cemetery listings for most of the cemeteries in the county. That might give you a clue as to when she died and in what area of town. Best of luck ferreting this out...
