In response to your request for information about my WILLIAMS family, William Richard WILLIAMS (also known as Warwick WILLIAMS) was born in 1869 in Brynsadler, Glamorgan and his father was Evan WILLIAMS (born 1847 in Llantrisant, Glamorgan). Evan WILLIAMS' father was Richard WILLIAMS (born 1803 in Pendoylan, Glamorgan). Richard WILLIAMS' father, Evan WILLIAMS was born in 1762 (place of birth unknown but further research needed). All the foregoing were born in villages in close proximity to each other. Unfortunately where names were handed down through the generations, of a similar nature, this creates difficulties of tracking down one's correct ancestors! Warwick WILLIAMS emigrated to the United States in 1905, and was my grandmother's brother. I hope these details will assist in your quest for information on the WILLIAMS' families. To my knowledge, none of my WILLIAMS's, pre-1901, were born in England.
