WE think this is a society on the move, don't we? Well, it is an eye opener to find how our ancestors loaded their wagons with family and earthly goods, bade family and friends farewell and traipsed around the country in the early days. Travel by ship was common from the north to southern ports. Baltimore, Norfolk, Wilmington, Charleston and Savannah were busy places. That was the easiest way south. Dorothy C.
