    3. Some of my notes were converted to sources when I upgraded to FTM2006. You might check the Master sources to see if they may have ended up there. This past weekend I finally installed FTM 2005. I was nervous about updating the software and thankfully backed up my family files before doing it. What I have since noticed is that while the ged file size has not decreased, I have a lot of notes that are now just "gone". I have not gone through every person yet to see how much is missing but in the notes section where I had typed up copies of obits, census records and various other notes there is a fair amount that just no longer shows up. When any of you upgraded to 2005 did you have this issue and if so how did you take care of it? I found that if I copy the information to the notes secion again it shows up if I close and reopen the application. Right now the only thing that I think of is to make another copy of the ged file, reinstall the older version of FTM in a different folder and attempt to open up the file and go through each person to verify what did and did not get copied over.
