There does not appear to be a connection between Ethan A. Williams and the family of John W. and Ella Russell Williams mentioned in the query from Edward Jennings (see farther below). Ethan had a brother named John Randolph Williams of Jackson Co IL (my gggf). Ethan was a bachelor living at Middletown, Henry Co IN, before he moved to Madison Co IN.
