Conrad was called Connie by his sister margaret angeline who was called angie. there were lots of kids in his family. Conrad was born in DEC 1890. his mother was Evalett and his father was Edward. Conrad was born in Oregon and lived in Yamhill co. His father died of TB in 1910, and his mother and the kids moved to Raymond WA and that is where his mother died in 1942. Angie missed Conrad greatly when he took off and her favorite story was the time he bought her some red shoes when he went to visit and even though the shoes were too small she wore them til her toes poked out through the tips. I have lots of stuff to share on this line if I can find some decendents. there is something more, though, that may make a difference. It is possible Conrad changed his name also. according to Angie, Connie was a "Hellion" in his younger days and got into some trouble. She thought he changed his name when he decided to start over. Angie married James Long and stayed in Raymond WA and is buried there. Conrad had a brother named Edward(wives violet and Helen) who lived in Raymond and later moved to the Portland/Clackamas area of OR. Conrad had a sister called OBBIE who was named Elva. she married a man named Rowe and died in Yakima WA. he also had a neice there named Lydia Rowe Brashears(husband Herman), and a Carrie Fieger of coos bay and la grande OR .He also had sister Winnie(winnifred) who married Porter Loomis and they lived in Mabton and Portland OR. Conrad also had Collins family in Hillsboro OR and Williams/Lawton family in Yamhill co. I dont know if connie started over near family in one of those places but i thought it worth a shot. if you have those surnames/places in your family please email me and see if we can connect. Conrad also had sisters Gertrude and Hallie(harriet) Williams (not harriet "dud" williams lawton, that is her aunt)but i have no info on them either, so that is another way someone may connect to me. Anyway hope to hear for some people !!! thanks. gloria
