Hi all, Does anyone connect to John Allsworth Williams. He was 1791. His father was Thomas (Allsworth)Williams. This is a part of the story. The Williams family are holding forth on the upper porch of the Inn and have about 100 members in attendance. This family has a most interesting family history. Their ancestor being one Thomas Allsworth, son of Lord and Lady Allsworth, who was born in 1739 in Tyrone Co, Ireland. He was impressed (sic) into the British service and deserting, came to this country in 1757, when he took the name of Thomas Williams. He visited his old home again when he was seventy years old under cover of darkness. He was a commissioned officer in the Revolutionary War and had eight children, of which John Allsworth came to Woodhull and settled. Looking for anyone who connects to this family. Brenda
