Hi Kay.... Really appreciate your offer to help with a Williams question I haven't asked lately. My gg-grandfather was James W. Williams born 11 Jan 1780, where I am not sure. He married on 1 Feb 1809 in Fleming Co., KY to Mary Planck, she was born 1782 in VA. I have no idea who his parents were or if he had any siblings, and I have no information on Mary Planck either. If anyone has any info on either of these I would certainly appreciate it. James & Mary had 5 sons who were all born in KY according to census taken later in Daviess County, Indiana where they all moved by 1840 & 1850. There may have been some girls born, but I have no record of any. James died 7 Feb 1847 Daviess Co., IN & Mary on 1 Apr 1857, both buried in Daviess Co., IN. The five sons I have traced are: Watson Williams born 8 Feb 1810 KY Jacob Williams born 30 Oct 1815 KY William Williams born abt 1821 KY (my g grandpa-another mystery) Mordecai Williams born 30 May 1822 KY James Williams Jr born abt 1826 KY Thank you......
