    1. Re: [WILLIAMS] To Carolyn
    2. Hi Carolyn, I don't think the William Williams you are looking for is the same as mine but will tell you about mine. William Williams was my ggrandfather, he was born abt 1821 in KY but he migrated with the rest of his siblings to Daviess Co., IN where he married Rachel Ann Peachee. My grandpa was born to them in 1845 IN but was never found in a census with either his father or mother, but with different relatives of the mother. It is said that they also had 2 other children a girl Martha J. Williams born abt 1847 IN, & another son John Lemual Williams born about 1854 IN but never could find them in any census either. Their mother Rachel Ann Peachee died in Daviess Co., IN in 1858 according to her relatives altho I do not know where, or where she is buried. My William Williams was only found in 2 census, the 1850 Daviess Co., Washington, IN living with his brother Jacob & his family. Then in 1860 he was in Hendricks Co., Guilford, IN living with a family by the name of Perry Ransell. My William Williams was listed as a blacksmith in both these census. After that he just disappeared!! Good luck in finding yours.... Peggy (Williams) P. Peggy, Could you tell me about your william williams' I am looking for one born in Ky from 1800 to 1806.
