(south-central) m. abt 1825 probably to Sarah, dau. of William AYERS, Sr. (Sarah d. bef Aug 1854) m. 2nd 26 Nov 1857 in Montgomery Co., IL. to Sarah McCURLEY (dau. of Robert COLE & Rhoda ASHER) he d. 9 Aug 1909 Morgan Co., IL. William had a total of 13 children between the two wives and many grand-children.
