John H. Williams-born 4-16-1833-VA-died 3-17-1890-Monroe county, Union, MO. Married Electa Jane Blossom-born 7-18-1839-NY- died-2-13-1917-Monroe county, Union, MO. Her father was Lorin Blossom-born 1813-Wells, Rutland, Vermont. Her mother was Laura Brownell-born in Vermont. I am trying to find the Father of John H. Williams. Census show he was born in VA. John's mother was Nancy Williams (Maiden name unknown). Nancy was born ABT 1809. Census show she was a widow living in Fairfax VA in 1850 with children-Margaret, Mary E., Anne, Alphina, and George. John was out of the home working to support the family. In 1860, Nancy was living next door to her son, John, in Fairfax, VA. According to my research Alphina Williams married Benjamin Lewin Jones, and Anne or could be Anna married Lawson Money. Any help locating John's father would be aaappreciated. Phyllis Dickerson
