    3. If you think that the PHILLIPS, is really a WILLIAMS, you could have him yDNA tested and see if he matches any of the WILLIAMSes who have already tested. I think that the WILLIAMS DNA PROJECT is one of the largest DNA groups 'going'. Check it out. Your description of Ky WILLIAMS being short of stature and very dark hair and eyes sounds like my ancestral grandmother but she was a COOPER only Married to a "gone in the night" WILLIAMS circa1860, She married second, Grissom Reed LEE and died 1884. She left besides her LEE children ^, two WILLIAMS Minerva who became a PHILLIPS and Alexander called Elec , who married and had 2 sons, their mother died in1910 Missouri Hazel the older boy ran away and we have never been able to locate him. His brother John after "bumming" for many years as Stacks, became a successful Texas Charter boatman. He had sons, seeming one in each descending family and they all were john/Johnnie/john Boy etc. Any of this sounds familiar? I know Minerva's family, also knew John . he died in Galveston Texas circa 1990. Any clues? His Mother was my father's Aunt. I have only one known blood WILLIAMS AND HIS SURNAME IS PHILLIPS. More discussion another time with list on other WILLIAMS lines Bud.
