Do you have any information on this James Williams of Duplin Co., NC with a reference to Lodwick Williams in Baltimore Co., MD who possibly would have been the grandfather or ggrandfather of Joseph Williams b in or near Duplin Co., NC about 1747/8? I cannot find Joseph's father or any siblings but Joseph Williams is first proven to be in Duplin Co. in 1784 - that part that became Sampson Co.? My Joseph Williams married Martha Parrott/Perritt and their first child was born in 1767, Edith (Eady). Next child was Henry Williams b Aug. 23, 1769. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
