    3. Hello Paul, The book itself is an index in that all 4000+ family leaders' surnames it contains are presented in alphabetical order from start to finish. Beneath each family leader is some information about the family as it pertains to their immigration to Nova Scotia / New Brunswick between the period of 1749-1775. It includes a capture of available information about the ship, date of arrival, birth/marriage/death dates, children, etc. There are eight Williams families who settled in NS/NB that are found in the book that may be of interest to anyone whose lines trace to the Canadian Maritimes. I hope this clarifies and if you or anyone has further questions, please get in touch with me off the list at this email, or visit www.plantersandpioneers.com <http://www.plantersandpioneers.com> .
