    3. Can anyone help with information regarding Samuel WILLIAMS. His wife may have been Mary (?). Who were his parents? Where was he born? I estimate his birth to have been about 1710--1720. He lived in Anson Co., NC at the beginning of the Revolutionary War. Thanks for any help, Addice in Fairfax, VA

    3. Hi Addice, Did your Samuel Williams continue living in Anson Co., NC after the start of the Revolution? My Williams ancestor was originally in Anson Co., but when the county was divided to form Montgomery Co., NC, in 1779, my family fell into the new county.
