    3. I have one Polly Ann WILLIAMS b. Mar 1839 d. after 1910, daughter of John WILLIAMS. I have several "Mary Ann WILLIAMSes", often called "Polly" or "Polly Ann". In years past I thought that "Polly Ann" was used to denote (show) a "Polly Anna" attitude; but I have dropped that idea. My WILLIAMSes may have come out of North Carolina; but so far they are "stuck" in south-central Kentucky about 1798-1820, with a yDNA match to a WILLIAMS line in TN.
