I've "rescued" an old photograph of John Morris WILLIAMS which was taken at the Jones Studio in Madison, Wisconsin. The photograph appears to have been taken in the 1880's with John appearing to be in his 20's or 30's at the time it was taken. Based on limited research I believe that this may be a photograph of John M. WILLIAMS b. 26 May 1852 at Spring Green or Dodgeville, WI to parents Thomas Neziah WILLIAMS and Elisabeth A. MORRIS. John M. WILLIAMS married twice, first to Martha A. DAVIES or DAVIS on 24 Mar 1886 in Wyoming, WI, and second to Mary Jane DAVIS on 23 Dec 1896 in Columbus, IA. John died 22 Mar 1922 in Columbus, IA and is buried there as well. I'm hoping to be able to return the photograph to his family.
