    1. Re: [WILLIAMS] Williams Connection/Arkansas
    2. Any info on Russell Williams would be greatly appreciated because I haven't been able to find much in TX ... especially any info on family line would be most welcome. As you must know Williams is a hard name because there are so many healthy long lived ones... and I have a double whammy because I have another Williams line on my maternal side (my ggrandmother was a Williams --from Conrad Williams of TN>IA>MO>OR) Thank you so much for your reply. 3. Hi Paul.... My grandmothers brother was Myron E. Barrett b 10/21/1867 in Palmer MA. His daughter was Ruth Matilda Barrett b 3/4/1897. She married Robert Dwight Williams and they had 10 children. They lived in New Haven County CT on the shore of long Island Sound in a section called Walnut Beach. Does any of this sound familiar? All of my relations lived in New England and most of the name list activity for any of my names are about other parts of the country. 3. Bobby & list members: As Williams descendants possibly our best chance of ever getting our ancestors "sorted out" is to find a Williams surnamed male descendant of our known ancestor and ask them to do dna testing. This dna testing can be done through our Williams dna site at FTDNA. Please seriously consider having your Williams surnamed male cousins tested. It may be your only chance of finding our Williams ancestors. My Dad Burton F. Williams, who 90 years old, was tested in December 05.
