Hi, Searching for Charles Williams who was married to a Martin girl (she was born in Ireland - he in VA). They had a daughter, Virginia, born in PA around 1898. I find Virginia in the 1920 census living with her aunts, Mary and Annie Martin (spinsters) in Carnegie, PA. I also believe there is a Lewis connection to this family somewhere - also Carnegie, PA. I am looking for any information on Peter Williams. According to census records he was born May 1833 in New York. Married Matilda Ellen Ironside in Troy Mills, Linn County, Iowa October 19, 1871. They had 8 children: Joseph Charles, Arthur James, John H., William J., Frances Janette, Ida Jane, Jesse Harrison, and Burr Wilkins. He died in Dows, Wright County, Iowa June 5, 1912. Darius H. WILLIAMS, b. 1856 in IL, moved to Cowley Co., KS by 1880 where he met/married Annie E. COTTINGHAM, b. 1863 in KS. Shortly after marrying, they moved into OK territory. I know this because their first child was born IN Oklahoma in 1881. No census for 1890, of course, but have been unable to locate this family in 1900 Census despite repeated searches. I have a land record for them in 1903, a quarter-section within Otoe Twp., OK, just a couple of miles from the town of Carney which is known to be the birthplace of at least one of their sons (my grandfather). The entire family (8 known children) moved to Tulare Co., CA in 1906 when my grandfather was just 2 yrs. old. Children are: Arthur Deloise 'Artie' WILLIAMS Buel H. WILLIAMS Robert Harrison WILLIAMS Neoma Frances WILLIAMS Darius WILLIAMS, Jr. Florence WILLIAMS Arlo Frederick WILLIAMS I. O.
