GA she was widowed, and placed her 4 youngest children in foster homes. Jesse Green Hollis to J.F. Brindle James A. Hollis to B.C. Hunsucker George F. Hollis to Arthur Gilbert Henry N. Hollis to John H. Kuhn. The guardians were all in-laws to each other and I suspect some may have been kin to Nancy or Jesse, but I can find no proof. No further record of Nancy...said to have gone back to live with her parents. Line #2 Elizabeth Williams born ca. 1827 in GA Married William J. Bridges in Franklin Co. Ga 1846 Moved to Fannin Co. GA Widowed in 1898 Still in Fannin Co. as of 1900 My grandmother says she re-married to a Williams in her old age and moved to Union Co.     3. Jessie May Williams, born January 1870, parents, siblings and location unknown. She married James Wiley Williams on October 31, 1885, Lawrence County, MO. He was 20 and she was 15. They had two children in MO then migrated to Texas with James' family. They had two more children in Texas. The first child born in Texas was my grandmother. The last, died as an infant in August 1983. Jessie became ill and died in January 1894. I have no clues about the identity of her parents, except for consent given on her marriage license - by F.M. Williams. This could be her father, mother, uncle, brother, grandparent. I have checked every F.M. Williams in the entire 1880 census and none had a daughter named Jessie, Jessey, May, Mae, or J.M. who would have been listed in the 1880 census as 10 years of age.

Parents, siblings and location of birth unknown. First documented in the 1860 census, Pickens County, Alabama. Married to Elizabetth Robinson born in 1835 in Mississippi. They were married about 1853, but no marriage record can be located in AL or MS. They lived near tne AL / MS state line and had three children by 1860. They left AL sometime after 1870, stopped for a while in Phillips County, AR (1880), then landed in Bell County, TX. (1883) Who are the parents of Henderson (Henry) Williams? Where did they live in 1850?

    3. Looking for any information on James Williams born around 1805. He married Elizabeth Glover in Pulaski, Kentucky, February 21, 1829. Elizabeth and James were in Russell County, Kentucky during the 1860 census when James was listed as being 55 years old. The census lists James as being from Virginia. Sons of James, John R. and Thomas, fought in the 5th Kentucky Cavalry in the Civil War. James Williams and his son, Thomas, with some other family members later moved to Macon, Missouri. John R. Williams remained in Russell County, Kentucky, where he died August 26, 1909. I am searching for any information on James and his wife, Elizabeth. Looking for any information on our brick wall: Stephen Williams, b.abt 1830 IL d. before 1900 MO (1)wife-unknown, b.ARK d. after Aug 1866 MO (after birth of twins) children: Sarah, b.abt 1853-IL Newton A. b.abt 1856-MO Parnie A. b.abt 1861-MO Nancy E. b.abt 1864-MO Stephen M. b.Aug 1866 MO America M. b.Aug 1866 MO (2) wife Elizabeth P? Moore b.Oct 1825 VA d.1904 MO Elizabeth was widow with 2 children, William Franklin and Mary. Stephen and Elizabeth Moore were married 22 Sept 1870, Marshfield, Webster Co MO. Above information is from webster Co. MO 1870 census. Believe Stephen and Elizabeth continued to live in Southwest Missouri but can't find them in Greene, Dallas or Webster Co census'. Stephen was a farm laborer and is supposed to have come from IL to "north"Missouri where his (1) wife died shortly after birth of twins Stephen and America. 1870 Webster Co MO census shows Stephen living in household of a Margaret Morris a widow? and her 6 children. Census shows her aged 39 and born in ILL. Is Margaret Stephen's sister? I will gladly share my information; any help on the above will be greatly appreciated. Cheryl Tuckley Williams
