    1. [WILLIAMS] Roll Call
    2. I am searching for any information on a William Greenberry Williams b. 1826 in Illinois and married to Cressey Bails. Know of sons Franklin Alexander Williams b. in Illinois, Thadios Williams b. in Texas, Stephen Williams b. in Texas and one daughter Sarah E. Williams b. Texas. Think he probably had other children but not sure. They moved around a lot in Texas as they were cattle herders according to 1880 census. Thanks

    3. Personally I don't mind deleting the messages that I do not want, the thing that would be helpful to most of us is if the one who posts could put a location in the subject line so it would be easier to delete the unwanted posts. 1. [WILLIAMS] Leigh Arthur Williams
    2. Diane McEvilly
    3. My grandfather was Leigh Arthur Williams, born March 2, 1867 in Hesper, Wineshiek, Iowa. I do not have the info in front of me at this moment and want to send this much off tonight, but as I remember, both of his parents were born in Vermont according to the 1880 (I think) census -- info sent to me kindly by another lister. Unfortunately, I don't have the list of his siblings handy. He married Elizabeth Grace Bruce on March 1, 1893. I have quite a lot of info on her family thanks to connecting with a 3rd cousin via the Bruce site. They had 3 children --- Howard Bruce Williams (my father) born December 25, 1893 in Pelican Rapids, Minnesota, died -- 1973. Harry Niles Williams and Nell Grace(?) Williams Currie I am interested in knowing more about Leigh Arthur's parents (his mother was a Taber) and also in contacting descendants of Harry. I am in touch with one of Nell's children. Would like to hear from Williams who recognize the name Hesper, Winneshiek, Iowa.

    3. I have recieved so many angry replies because of this roll call. But come on people thats what the delete button is for , if you don't want to spend the time to look at them ,and maybe take a chance on missing the one person that will put your family tree together then just hit the delete button. But I for one appreciate this roll call as I have hit a brick wall with my Williams line and this atleast gives me some where to start the search. Remember if you don't want them just DELETE , DELETE , DELETE . The time you spend sending an angry reply could have been spent deleting all the mail you don't want. Teresa Thompson Williams
