We must have a few moneyed searchers who either have the money to subscribe to the costly research for fee people or some other person or persons doing their family research for them for free. For an individual like me who is just a step above being a dot about genealogy research and having family ties to the elusive Williams family this roll call has been a God send. Williams b 1862 and d July 27, 1927, in Elwood Indiana. Their union produced three children: Carrie Williams (Born 1882 or 1883) who married Ben F. Kennedy on March 6, 1901. Cora Edith Williams (Born May 27, 1898, and died September 8, 1936) in Troy, Ohio. Herschel Williams no further info known about birth or death date or where death occurred. I'm interested in any Kennedy's who may be related to Carrie Williams Kennedy and any people in Anderson, Indiana who may have known my uncle Herschel or my grandmother Ella Russell Williams. He signed much of the money that was printed during that time. I know that he is not in my direct line... but I would still like to find out if the information on him that I have is correct. I need information on Donny Ray WILLIAMS b 13 Apr 1940 in WV. Father: Marvin ROSE, mother: Ersha Ellen WILLIAMS Any and all help GREATLY appreciated.

My gfather was Willie Alvis Williams, born on 3/12/1896 in Canadian City, Oklahoma Indian Territory. He died on 7/15/1958 in Healdton, Ok. He married Helen Georgia Northcutt, born 7/1/1904 in Roanoke Texas. She died on 3/6/1971 in Healdton, Ok. They were married in April of 1923 in Tulsa. His father was Isaac Newton Williams, no dates. Married to Fanny Holby, no dates. Isaac and Fanny had 5 children. Forest Williams Glenn Williams Myrtle Williams Willie Williams IN Williams (pronounced "I" "N") Isaac's father was Robert A Williams. That's all I have. We don't know where they came from, possibly the Carolinas. Maybe this will help someone and maybe someone can help me. I do have a little more on my Grandmother, Helen Northcutt if anyone can use it.

Regarding the volume of mail that this roll call has generated: If this is a problem, you can always join the digest rather than the list. I am a digest subscriber and I have received maybe 7 to 8 emails total. Each email contained from 5 to 15 attachment email. That way, you get all the information from the list, and your inbox is not full. These attachments are safe, do not have to be downloaded but can simply be viewed, and can easily be saved individually or deleted. Besides as far as I am concerned, there is nothing worse than joining a list with little to no activity.
