My challenge now is to ascertain whether this is MY Thomas and Delilah Williams. When I first happened upon them, I figured it had to be since Delilah was an unusual name....then found out it was actually rather common during that time. I'm assuming they died in Illinois or Indiana, but haven't found them yet, so the search continues....thanks for the input;o) Sue At 07:38 PM 9/15/2002 -0700, chuff1@juno.com wrote: >Sue: Check out W.KY Counties of Hopkins/Henderson/Union for marriage and >census listings for Thomas Williams and Delilah Edmondson, almost certain >I saw their marriage in book there. They also could just have married late in life....in those days people sometimes waited until they had their finances established, or realized they were just always gonna be poor, or decided not to confront old age alone. All are possibilities. The real clue would be finding him in 1910 and seeing if he's single or married. Anne

Hi Listers, I am enjoying your roll call very much. So many or you are working on lines far away from my area. I am looking for twenty years for information on Mary Bine Williams. Who was married to Charles Simms (Sims or Syms). Mary Bine is the daughter of Sennett Williams who was the son of William Williams. I have dates for them out of the Nicholas County Cemetery book. I have more information on William than I do on anybody else. I even have his other children. He had nine according to my sources. What I really need in information on Sennett and his wife Nellie Nutter. Her name might be Eleanor. I have nothing on her. All I know is they were born and lived in and around West Virginia. I will be happy to share any information I have with you. I am Henriellen Surgeon Kibler------Henrietta Simms was my grandmother on my father's side email is ohenri66@aol.com or call 256-883-6254 after 4 eastern time.

I believe that there are several Newton Jasper Williams around, and certainly more than our fair share of Newton Williams as well. For example in Benton Co AR in 1860 there is a Newton Williams from the Samuel Williams and Clarissa Gore line said to be out of Overton Co TN, amongst whose family my Thomas L. Williams from Cocke Co TN ends up. I believe I deleted the initial message. Could the poster provide more information on dates and location? Thanks, Janet Hunter
