A native of Yorkshire may just mean that the family originaly came from Yorkshire, not that William was born there himself: but I will stick with Yorkshire for now. c. Searching through the International Genealogical Index however I found four siblings born in Patrington, Yorkshire to a William and Ann Wilkin. The children were: Mary christened 18 July 1803 John christened 9 July 1806 William christened 12 November 1809 Thomas christened 14 November 1813 Are these names in your family?
