We are told that his great-great grandmother ADELE was a dutchess from Riga, Russia. She married a commoner named Woldemar Toffry. (Toffry was his "American" name) We are not sure about her lineage or the correct last name before it was changed to Toffry. Adele was born in 1881 (estimated) Woldemar was a brewmaster and born 15 March 1873. They had 2 sons that died from disease while still in Russia. Anyone know where I can begin looking?
