They were in the Mid West for a period of years, and perhaps more came over and stayed there, as well. Thomas Drew b. 1806 in Helston, Cornwall, England brought my ggGradfather, his son with him to Grass Valley, California eventually about 1851. His name was William Drew. They stayed in california, and my gggGradfather, Thomas Drew is buried in Nevada City/Grass Valley, CA. Let me know who your Drew relatives were if you know. Thanks.
