My great uncle Charles (or Carl) Laessig born 28 April 1876 was married 28 Nov. 1896 to Jeanette McDonald born 23 June 1876, daughter of Frank and Cass (Mac Donald) McDonald of Canada. I don't have a lot of information on this family of McDonalds but know Jeanette had brothers that lived in Central Wisconsin. Perhaps they are connected to your McDonalds.
