Mr. LEWIS, more than twenty years ago, was employed in the lumbering industry at Necedah, but for the past twenty years has resided in the northern part of the state. He was nearly 79 years of age, and was a veteran of the Civil War, having served in Company B, 40th Wisconsin Regiment. The remains were accompanied by his surviving wife; Mr. and Mrs. Frank LEWIS of Wausau; Mr. and Mrs. E. V. FAGAN and sons, Earl and Eddie, of Wausau. Funeral services were held in the Methodist church here in the afternoon, being in charge of Rev. E. D. Upson, and interment was made in Bayview Cemetery.
