I have a volunteer who has both the 1902 city directory and the 1919 telephone directory of Tomahawk, who will do look-ups for us. She is Dawn - e-mail her at [email protected] Also, I only have the Tomahawk wards 3 and 4 to do for the 1900 census, and hope to work on them next week. Then the entire Lincoln county 1900 census will be done. My next project will be to canvas a few more cemeteries and get them online. Shelley
Have a copy of 1902 directory of Tomahawk and a copy of the 1919 Telephone Directory. Willing to do lookups. Please post to list. Dawn
I got the following letter from a mailing list coordiator. I just added the name to my address book and hope it works! Shelley This is probably a tad off of what you are speaking of but along the lines of preventing virii from sending mail to all the addresses in your address book as Outlook Express is highly vulnerable of doing: To avoid spreading computer viruses, create a contact in your email address book with the name :** !0000 with no email address in the details. This contact will then show up as your first contact. If a virus attempts to do a "send all" on your contact list, your pc will put up an error message saying that: "The Message could not be sent. One or more recipients do not have an e-mail address. Please check your Address Book and make sure all the recipients have a valid e-mail address." Your messages to an individual or individual addressees will not be affected. You click on OK and the offending (virus) message would not have been sent to anyone. Of course no changes have been made to your original contacts list. The offending (virus) message may then be automatically stored in your "Drafts" or "Outbox" folder. Go in there and delete the offending message. Problem is solved and virus is not spread. Try this and pass on to your email contacts. The more people that use this technique, the less vulnerable we will be to viruses that spread in this manner! Tim -

Selma, I believe Elizabeth Prosser to be my GGGrandfathers sister. She was in the 1880 Lincoln county census as a school teacher. Her brother's George & William are on the page prior to where she appears. If you still have that document I would love a copy of it. Sharon
I am seeing a marriage record for a Robert Herman Gramer dated 23 June 1892 in Lincoln County Wisconsin. It is possible that he married Klara Hilmina Bayer. I believe they moved to Peshtigo, Marinette County WI and had a son name Walter Wesley Gramer or he may have been named Wessie W. Gramer dob August 5, 1898. Walter is my grandfather and he married Clara Helen Bundy who's parents are listed as Hannah Carstensen Bundy and Lawrence Bundy. I've also seen them listed as Andrew Bundy and Betsy Bundy in a 1900 census of Marinette County WI.
my father was robert e. lee his father served in ww 1 lincoln co was where they lived help?
