Hi Kate Thanks very much for writing. I appreciate it. Yes, I can send you a copy of the picture. Just so you know it's from me, it'll be in the next email. One thing I should have stated is that my grandfather was born in 1883 in Rock County and raised in Rock County. My grandparents travelled much and I'm sure they were on vacation when the picture was taken. Could you send a picture of the cabin?   I have some one who researches for me in lincoln county I'll forward it to her and see what I can find out.   Also, do you know where grandfather grew up?  What town? Hello I have an old picture of my grandfather standing in front of a small cabin. At the roof's peak is a sign which says "School District No. 1" "Built 1879" "Lincoln County". Since we live in Southern Wisconsin, I suspect that this photo was taken up in our state's Lincoln County. But since there are several other Lincoln Counties across the country, I'm just wondering.
