My mother recalled visiting Kruger relatives in Merrill, WI when she was young. That would have been in the 1920's and 1930's. My ancestry tree is Pollari-Sanaker Family 2012. Thank you. My dad William G. Pierson was born in 1925 in Baraboo, Wisconsin. My grandparents split up when my dad was very young, because my great grandmother didn't like my grandfather. She felt my grandfather, Leander Pierson was no good, and that was the reason they split. My great grandma Catherine took my grandma Grace and her son Bill (my Dad) to live in Spokane Washington for a couple of years. Then family moved back to Wisconsin. Years later my grandparents moved back in together when my Dad was in high school. ( But never remarried.) That missing time was never explained or accounted for. It is possible this man could be your mother's father. DO you know his first name or any other information? I have heard my grandfather's family owned a quarry, and family members lived in Milwaukee. Colleen was two years older than me, but we had alot of fun times together. Growing up next to the Wisconsin River gave us lots of swimming time. So many stories. Do you have any photos of Colleen? Terri has said she has movie videos and I sure would love to see them. How is Butch. He was always that "little kid" that kept bothering us. Our entire neighborhood was full of boys his age, they would have stories. When Colleen was taken from us, part of me went with her. That morning when Dolly & Fran came running over to our house with the tragic news will forever be with me. Such sorrow! Dolly & my mom were also the best of friends, living so close.
