Seeking information on Maria WILHITE. She was the wife of William BOWEN. I've been told that there is a William BOWEN home still standing in Moss Wright Park in Nashville and is preserved. This William Bowen was the maternal grandfather of Tennessee Governor William Bowen Campbell, who served about 1850-1853. I am trying to determine if Maria WILHITE was the wife of this William BOWEN who owned the home in Moss Wright park. This may not be the same William BOWEN I am looking for. My William BOWEN and Maria WILHITE had a daughter, Sarah Malinda BOWEN, born about 1813 in TN or AL. She married John E. HESTER. I have lots on the HESTERs.
