Hi Terri, This is a collateral line of mine. I am related to it through an extension of the CATE line. I also have a Maria WILHITE, born about 1790 in Knox County, TN on another line of mine who married William BOWEN. The family later removed to Russellville, Alabama. I was hoping that all these WILHITEs in Knox county would give me a clue as to who Maria belongs to. I don't think the WILHITE name is that common, so to have two seperate occurances in early Knox county at the same time seemed a little remote. I'd like to think that Maria WILHITE was related to them somehow. Just don't have anybody who recognizes her or has her on a family list. Appreciate the info. Let me know if you have any other ideas.
