I have very little information on the Wilhites of my family. Allie (maiden name unknown) married Joel (or Joseph) Wilhite sometime in Missouri sometime before the Civil War. They probably had three children (at least) Mary Elender (known), Joseph L. (Lester?), and Joel (1900 Census) - Boone Co. MO, around Rocheport and Columbia. Mary Elender married Thomas John Shoush in Centralia, MO about 1884. I have a picture of Joel and Allie, and possibly a grandson, Les.
